Mother Sufeda Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that is registered under the West-Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961. We are dedicated for working towards social development and uplifting underprivileged communities. We firmly believe in our motto, “humanity is our religion,” as we strive to create a more compassionate and inclusive society.

Our wide range of activities:

Our primary objective is child education and child development.
Class-based coaching in various subjects is provided daily across the villages.

Organizing various cultural programs for children, or facilitating their participation in such events at various venues.
Providing training for competitive activities such as drawing, dance, singing, karate, various sports, quizzes, fashion shows, Bratachari Training and similar events.
The celebration of various festivals. A constant endeavor to preserve diverse folk cultures.
Providing clothing, food, books, notebooks, pencils, pens, and school bags for children; and supplying winter clothing.
Women’s Empowerment –
Women’s education, protesting against violence against women, eradicating child marriage, providing assistance to women.
Greening initiatives. Environmental cleanliness and hygiene. Halting deforestation. Tree plantation.

Mother Sufeda Foundation is Registered with the Registrar of Societies and the type of NGO is Registered Societies (Non-Government) bearing THE WEST BENGAL SOCIETIES REGISTRATION ACT, 1961 and the Registration Number is S0031615 OF 2022-2023. The city and state of registration are MURSHIDABAD and WEST BENGAL. The date of registration is 28-10-2022. Our Unique Id of VO/NGO is WB/2023/0347081.

Late Sufeda Khatun

The Foundation began with the initiation taken by Late Sufeda Khatun. She fearlessly raised her voice against tyranny faced by women and all other forms of oppression. Her legacy serves as a reminder to fight for gender equality, advocate for women’s rights, and strive for a society where every woman is treated with respect and given equal opportunities. May her courageous spirit continue to inspire and ignite positive change in the pursuit of justice and empowerment for women. Though she is no longer with us, continues to inspire through her dedication to humanism, sympathy, and kindness, particularly towards women in society.
